With what is being called The Great Purge of 2009 and threads such as The Great Fan Pushback of 2010 I quite honestly find the whole situation hilarious on it's own. I do not have much bad stuff to say about GW, but this is NOT going to devolve into a whining or even argumentative thread. This is supposed to be fun. Anyone who was present at the 'Troll Wars Saga' will be familiar with how a story like this works. There will be those on either sides, GW haters and loyalists, and those just cuaght in the middle. Hope you have fun, and remember this is supposed to be light-hearted!

Emperors Faithful cuatiously strode through the catacombs, bolt pistol at the ready. Above, the ground trembled under the weight of the marching GW legal team. Their numbers seemed endless, armed with LW (Legal Wrangling) Rifles. Behind them came the armoured vehichles, the C & D Letters, heavy tanks capable of leveling entire fansites in a single shot. Ussually their mere presence was enough to pacify the resistance, but it was not always enough. Sometimes, blood was required.

Emperors Faithful was but a humble soldier. A devotee to the GW path. He knew nothing of the rumoured C & D camps, or what they did to the vile offenders there. EF was not concerened with that. It was his duty to track down those who would steal the ideas and plans of the Great GW hivemind and utilise them for thier foul purposes. That was why he was here now, in this stinking undercity. He'd heard rumours of a sect somewhere down here that was refining and distributing fan comics. An innocent enough gesture he had thought, but this sect wanted to turn these articles to thier own dark design and sell them on as thier own. This was a breach of the highest order, a mark on the Copyright of GW. It could not be allowed.

Davus Darstadus, Editor and Co-writer of Catacomb Comics(tm), stalked carefully behind the soldier of the GW legal team, reflecting on why he was here. After all, his Comic had been operating for quite some time, and GW had done nothing about it.

In that time he had managed to build this world up from nothing, creating inch perfect background and unnofficial fluff for every single one of the streets of the Hive City above him, and the inhabitants constantly looked to him for advice and guidance. The city was Happy, and now it was being torn down above his head, the rumbling of the mighty tanks making the very ground vibrate. Already they had completely leveled the Illustrious Forum Tower, as well as the surrounding hab-units... It was carnage.

It must have been Issue 173 that did it, he had checked and re-checked every issue he had ever edited, and that was the only one which had an error, even if it was very small. A lot of their stuff was Lord of the Rings anyway.

There had been no warning, the fleet had arrived out of the warp on the very edge of the planet's gravity field and started the bombardment almost immediately.

But this man of GW, he thought as he walked behind him, using his masterful powers of editing to erase himself from the man's perception of the storyline, he was different, he did not seem quite so ruthless as the rest of the army, perhaps he could be used as a force for good...

He slowed his pace, re-edited his prescence into the man's perception and started walking towards him, open armed and friendly...
