Nominate a classic or OOP GW model, show us a picture, and explain why you think it should be elected as the dakka no.1 classic model. I will also nominate one (and that will form the elventh option in the poll automatically ) After 20 entries have been posted, I will narrow it down to 10, bsed on the best reasoning.

The 10 finallist's will then be put into a poll, which will run for 5 days. Anyone can vote, and although you can only vote once, you MAY vote for your entry (if it is selected.)

After 5 days, the winner will be the model with the most votes. In the case of a tie, I will judge based on reasoning. Good luck!

I'm a shameless fan of classic 'nid figures, and I absolutely love this model-I would start a Tyranid army merely so I could use it as my HQ. It just encapsulates what I envisage the Tyranid army to be-Coldly, undeniably Alien, but with a strange human sentinence. While I admit it's not the best sculpt, but do we really expect anything brilliant from that era compared to today's results? With a modern paintjob, I think this could be one of the best models in a Tyranid collection.
