Rankings are determined by your results at tournaments. The results are submitted to the rankings team by TOs. The number of games played, and number of players in attendance at an event determine the number of points available for a tournament.

So. the max number of points you can gain at ANY event is 100 pts. In the UK that requires at least 60 players and 5 games.

If you had 60 players but only 3 games, the max score would be 3/5 x 100 = 60 points for first place. and 30 points for 30th place (i.e halfway down the field)

Note that for a 6 game tournament with 120 participants first place would STILL only get 100 points. Just the same as the winner of a 65 player 5 game tournament.

I'm not entirely certain how it scales down for player numbers under 60 as I don't run the system...
