The point is this requires alot of metallic colours. I currently use Boltgun, Tin Bitz and Mithril Silver. However, I had another one made by Revell that I used alot, as seen all over Gazy here:



I was dismayed to find out that I was completely out of it the other day, as this is one of my favourite paints. I tried mixing black and Boltgun, but its still so damn shiny (but still worth using).

So I have two questions:
a) do you know of any similar paints
b) more generally, are there any good metals that are different enough from the ones I'm using? I would love to add to my collection.

I haven't tried any of the other proper minis paint lines so I can't comment on them. I can say that watered down craft paint, like you'd buy in the larger tubes to use on small wooden boxes and such, doesn't ten to work nearly as well as hoped. Thanks, I'll give that a shot. I'll admit I haven't used any washes yet, and its been making me feel terribly guilty.
