				<description><![CDATA[ My <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(38);'>FLGS</span> will be holding a small 699pt "Quick Tourney" in February following the basic outline of "<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> in 40 minutes" style: 2 Troops, no <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>'s <i>required</i>, no 2+ saves, no invulnerable saves better than 5+, no models with over 2 wounds, no vehicles with greater than 33 armor (F+S+R), etc. The one wrinkle is while you are not required to have an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, you are required to select an army "leader," since there will be prizes for the best painted/converted leader.<br /> <br /> Got a list here focused on Devilfish mobility with Crisis Suit support. Other notable lists I will be facing may include 6 Chimeras with 2 Infantry Platoons and Ork lists with 2/3 Truck Boyz and a smattering of Killa Kans, Nobz, Warbikers.<br /> <br /> <font color='green'><b>Leader (Elite):</b></font><br /> Crisis Suit - 25<br /> Plasma Rifle (<b>or</b> AFP), Fusion Blaster, Targeting Array - 42<br /> Team Leader, Hard-Wired Multi-Tracker, Hard-Wired Drone Controller - 10<br /> 1 Gun Drone - 10<br /> Total: 82<br /> <br /> <b>Troops:</b><br /> 6 Firewarriors - 60<br /> Devilfish - 80<br /> Smart Missile System, Targeting Array, Disruption Pod, Multi-Tracker, Flechette Discharger - 50<br /> Total: 190<br /> <br /> 6 Firewarriors - 60<br /> Devilfish - 80<br /> Smart Missile System, Targeting Array, Disruption Pod, Multi-Tracker, Flechette Discharger - 50<br /> Total: 190<br /> <br /> <b>Elites:</b><br /> 2 Crisis Suits - 50<br /> Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Targeting Array - 42<br /> --Team Leader, Hard-Wired Multi-Tracker - 10<br /> Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Multi-Tracker - 37<br /> Total: 139<br /> <br /> 2 Crisis Suits - 50<br /> Twin-Linked Missile Pod x2 - 36<br /> Flamer x2 - 8<br /> Total: 94<br /> <br /> <b>Army Total: </b> 695<br /> <br /> Basically this army moves in a group using the Devilfish as mobile cover. I line them up next to each other and move them 6-12 every movement, depending on how many shots I need. The Crisis suits, who use the Devilfish as cover, follow them, shoot, and jump back behind in the assault phase. I have 8 St7 shots (4 twin linked and another 2 at BS4) and one BS4 melta, along with 6 Rapid Fire St6 Ap2 shots (4 are BS4).<br /> <br /> Each Fish has a Flechette Discharger to deter large Ork assaults. In close up games where lots of shots are needed, I will run the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span>'s in the 'Fishes up with the suits. For Ork Mobs, I will drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span>'s at deployment for long range support and kamikaze the 'Fishes in hopes that they take the assault bait and lose close to half their mob per 'Fish.<br /> <br /> It should be a fun tourney. The small, tactical games are a nice break from the big slug fests that are 2000pt games. This list uses the Devilfish heavily, so if they are taken out in the first 2 turns theirs not much I can use for mobile cover, but hopefully they leave some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span>'s behind for some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(319);'>RF</span> goodness. 				<description><![CDATA[ I'd swap the Fireknives for Helios, missile pods will take ages to down a Chimera unless you can get in behind. Have you considered making your army leader a Shas'vre so you can take an AFP for anti-horde? With the extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> killing from the helios you shouldn't miss the Plasma on him too much.<br /> <br /> Good list though.]]></description>

Against the 6 Chimeras, I plan to hopefully deploy my two 'Fishes back and hope he comes after me or whatever scenario objective we're playing (not the normal three, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>btw</span>). Then I hope to deep strike all suits behind him to get some sweet back armor. It's not what's in the Chimeras that I'm afraid of, it's his 6 Multilasers that I don't want to get caught in. I feel I can stay away from his melta troops by using Missle Pods, but I can't avoid those St6 shots forever. The Warfish will hopefully mop up whatever climbs out of the Chimera's after their wrecked. If he's any good he'll protect the transports back armor with other transports.<br /> <br /> @FlingitNow: To be honest, I didn't think about the AFP, but I don't usually have a lot of luck with it. Most people see it and immediately spread out, but I can see it being effective against troops (orkz and guard) piling out of a wrecked vehicle. Will consider it for sure. However, I'm keeping the Fireknives because I don't want my main transport poppers getting too close until the transports are popped, and that may take 2-3 turns with 6 Chimeras on the board. The only reason they're not another squad of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(558);'>Deathrains</span> is because I need the extra low <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> Plasma Rifles along with the Leader's. Thanks for the idea's though, I will most likely test both Leader configs.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Heatwave = Twin-Linked Flamer + Weapon<br /> <br /> Arguably, this loadout wouldn't do too bad at this point level, bec it's cheap. It just has to get so darn close. It looks like that 6 Chimera list will be packing 6 meltas in 2 platoon command squads and 4 autocannons in the infantry squad chimeras. I'm hoping that my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span>'s and Guard's 50% <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> will keep the cover alive long enough for the Missle Pods to do their work.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ ok, take out the chimera's with the teams in them, since its a tourney, he has to specifiy what units are in the chimera.<br /> so, hit the ones with the teams in them, the explosion should kill a few of them, and some of the guardmen that are on foot depending on the formation, oh and the explsion is from the edge of the hull on vehicles]]></description>
