You cannot suffer more wounds than you actually have.]]></description>

All 20 land at once, but the model cannot suffer more wounds than it has.<br /> <br /> The point about instant death is correct though. Just remember that if it was hit by a single Instant Death attack and dies, Acid Blood will trigger "however many wounds it had left when it got blatted" times, not just once.]]></description>

It goes "Rawr I eat your soulz!" and assaults a unit of 3 Eldar <strike>Snacks</strike> Guardians. It hits with all 4 attacks, and causes 4 wounds, none of which are saved. There were only 3 models in the unit, so only 3 Wounds were actually inflicted, so the Doom only gains 3 wounds, not 4.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Had something similar pop up with Doom and as I don't have the bug book, couldn't really argue the point effectively.<br /> <br /> Doom does his soul stealing thing.  One partial (5 models) <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> vet squad is within range and looses by 7 on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(2);'>3d6</span>.  All five models come off, but does Doom gain 5 wounds or 7 wounds?  I said 5...Bug player said 7.  I couldn't figure how you could gain more wounds than wounds models could give, however it did cause 7 unsaved wounds, I was just only able to remove 5 models.<br /> <br /> After thinking about it, the Bug players interp feels more <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(111);'>RAW</span> but mine seems more <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(110);'>RAI</span>.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ "Suffering" a wound and losing a wound on the model's profile are two different things (rulebook page 26).  Acid blood triggers when you "suffer" a wound.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> triggers when you "suffer" a wound.  In both cases, you do all "suffered" wound outcomes at the same Initiative.  It is possible to suffer more wounds than the model actually has, it just means that resolving those wounds kills the model in question.<br /> <br /> Feel No Pain really is the perfect example.<br /> <br /> It doesn't affect combat resolution to overkill your opponent, though, so it almost never comes up.]]></description>
