Need help with wood elves

Probably first step is to read Cypher's awesome article stickied to the top of this forum: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/181776.page

Wood Elves don't follow all of the guidelines he goes over as they play differently than any other WHFB army. However, your opponent will be thinking this way and more than any other army the Woodies are reactive and need to delay your opponents strengths while focusing with your speed and power on your opponents weaknesses.

I think taking Ali's approach would work pretty well. "Float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee."

In other words dance around your opponent, making them react to you, and then hit them with multiple units. Prioritize your targets.

WE can move and shoot, making them highly mobile and still effective. They hit hard, but are not too tough. Remember it is not "fleeing", but a "tactical retreat."
