				<title>Dirty APOC tactics</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ We are planning a six player <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(7);'>APOC</span> game in March and decided points and sides.  Each player can field 3000pts with 2 strategic assets.  The sides will be Ork+Chaos Demons+<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> versus <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>+<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(124);'>SW</span>+Ultra.  I am playing the Orks and was discussing tactics with the Chaos Demon player and came up with a truly gruesome combination.<br /> <br /> I will be fielding a Stompa with the Da Dred One walker formation from the main <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(7);'>APOC</span> book.  You can nominate one model in the formation to be da big dred and it gives him a force field that gives "obscured" to all walkers in the formation.  This is a moving 4+ cover save.<br /> <br /> But wait, there's more.  My Chaos Demon partner is fielding Fateweaver, which allows a re-roll on all saves for friendly models within 6in.  Fateweaver deep stikes in behind my Stompa and runs over and embarks into my Stompa.  Fateweaver is a monstrous creature, but they can ride in super heavy vehicles at the cost of 10 transport capacity slots.<br /> <br /> Now I have a re-rollable 4+ cover save for all the walkers in the formation. 				<description><![CDATA[ Might work pretty well.  Of course, ordinary Meks with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFFs</span> would do the same thing for any units, too, but hiding the Daemon inside the Stompa is especially clever.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Flank march + careful planning (I think) = you win. You bring on your army behind theirs on the first turn. They get shot at short range and charged and die quite a lot. If you set it up right you can strike such a crippling blow that it will end the game pretty much there and then.<br /> <br /> Also, ork superheavies are very good. Skullhammas dont have much firepower but are fast and have a transport capacity of 30. Now that could be 30 burnas that can charge out after you move 12" AND fire all your guns, great with the above asset combo. Stompas are very under priced for how good they are. Two or three presents a difficult problem for even armies with lots of anti-tank.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Take the chaos altar for one of your assets. Then fateweaver has a 2++ rerollable <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> stick that on top of the objective with a few squads of marines in cover and they won't even try to take that objective. Then make it vital so it counts double. Send some terminators to corrupt and despoil their objective and you have a 3 point swing in a 6 point game <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0">]]></description>
