I lived with a South African for about six months in Epsom in 2002-03. He was constantly painting a dour picture of the cities (people lying dead in the streets etc).

He was a bit of windbag, so I tended to take this with a pinch of salt. It's not really that bad is it?

No that's not true, he just wanted to puff himslef up by making his environment look worse than it was. If it was that bad no one would live here

Yes I'm sure there will be lots of people left in SA 10 years from now. We have a good time here and doesn't afraid of anything. The Zim immigrants are a big problem, but not all of them turn criminal and many are integrating into society produtively.
