This means you'll fail against lists that spam mech. Other than the nob bikers this list is tabled on turn 2 against heavy shooting.

yeah i just looked at the codex again. It doesnt say anywhere in the dex or the rule book that suggests that burnas wouldnt be able to ride in a trukk. I mean if that was the case, I could use all my elite slots as eldar on empty wave serpents ;p

EDIT: They can RIDE in a Trukk, they just can't TAKE a trukk, and the Trukk isn't a Troops choice, it's a Dedicated Transport. Trukks can only be taken as dedicated transports. Burnas can ride in someone else's trukk. However you haven't assigned these trukks to anyone. You can't just buy the transport all by itself.

To make it work you'd have to buy a boyz unit, give them a trukk and then deploy them on foot. Then you could deploy the burnas on foot next to the trukk and they could embark it on the first move of the game.

Regardless of whether or not they can be in a trukk, they'd be better off in a battlewagon.
