If you look at the image of the winner in the design studio, on the left, you can see a Orcs and Goblins cover.

Depends on how old the copy was. If your store hadn't flogged many at all since the change, then it is entirely possible they'd never have received a bordered copy.

edit - oh and aye don't blame you, I never brought a new copy of the Dark Elves book after the change, just used the FAQ info alongside the old book, seemed silly to pay all that extra for a few changes.
