The configuration of your IST is uneffective...they can provide you 2 BS4 special weapons, correct? Without the special weapons they are nothing. Run them in squad of 5 men and give them 2 meltagun/plasmagun, and a transport vehicle. Then they could do some killing.

You can't afford 9 GKTs at 1000pts. They are elite(and expensive, of course!) close combat unit, so you must find some reliable way to deliver them into combat...LR/LRC is the only way(New-version chimeras are also good choice, but that is in a GK-allied IG army), and the cost of a pair of LRs would bump your points to 1500-1750.]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/280514/1353672.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/280514/1353672.page GMT HQ and another one a psycannon then beef 'em up to five. Give your IST's a heavy weapon and transport otherwise there is no reason to even have them. Annihilation might be fine for you, but if it goes to objectives you're screwed; though with the price of GK's it's hard not to be.
