Music you've found again after a long absence

Inspired by MeanGreens thread about music you have fallen out of love with over the years, I pose the reverse of the question, any music that you have found again after not listening to anything by the band/artist in many a year.

The reason I've raised this is because I have found several songs randomly connected to an old fave game recently. Songs I had totally forgotten about in general, not hearing them for at least ten years and due to a search for a Soundgarden song found them all again.

The game in question was the 3DO game Road Rash, which later came out on both the PS1 and PC.

Heres some of the songs that have really got me going again, and I've been trying to track down some albums by these bands.

Probably Disney music. Used to think it was childish (Well...it is childish for the most part) but then I really listened to I'll Make a Man out of You from Mulan and got hooked. Seriously, Disney has released some seriously epic music - just take a listen to some villain songs (Be Prepared, In the Dark of the Night, Poor Unfortunate Souls, etc.) and you'll see what I mean. And it's freaking catchy as hell once you get into them. I've often said to my friends that the newest movie, The Princess and the Frog, is cursed to have the catchiest music of all time. It's already Disney, and now it's jazz music.

For me it was beginning of this year, started listening to a Guano Apes album I had off my dad when I was about 14 again

Needless to say, as usual, by the time I really start liking a band they have already split up

My old band played a cover of 'Gimme the Car' at a valentines day show in Manchester a few years ago. We were congratulated afterward by the promoter for the most inappropriate use of a song ever

Mine is VAST. I was a huge fan of theirs, but my car was broken into about 3 years ago, and they stole my damn music. So since then I stopped listening to VAST until recently. My brother was jamming out to them on a car ride we had and I instantly was hooked again.
