So the basic plan is thanks to the Tyrants Commander bonus the Trygons should arrive early enough. They Burrow into the enemys gun lines/ vulnerable parts/ high priority targets. If the enemy ignores them then they break the line/kill the targets, if the enemy FF them then the rest of the Horde can move unmolested. Thinking about outflanking a 20 strong termaguant brood to support Trygons. Hive Guard/ Zonthrobes for Tank hunting and Tervigon for replenishing the Horde! Give the tervigon toxin sacs or adrenal glands to buff all the gants.

One of them advances with the horde, the other one can be given outflank by your Hive Commander, or just advance with the horde. At higher point levels combine with a HT with preferred enemy and a venomthrope if you are fighting assaulty armies. This gives a pretty nasty phalanx, especially since your 5p models will be killing marines by the dozens.

Gaunt units need only be 20 strong, any bigger and they get very unwieldy.
