The enemy who's machinery has been vomited on must roll for a leadership test at the start of their next turn. (If the machinery crew are in close combat or not alive then don't roll a leadership test it simply counts as a failed roll.) If they pass the Crew have fixed the machine and it moves and attacks as normal. If they fail the test then the machinery is unable to move or shoot, they must roll again next turn.

Therefore it's possible that by vomiting on machinery a troll could disable it for multiple turns while he goes to wreak havoc elsewhere or destroys the crew members. Practically speaking this rule would very, very rarely come into play, unless you had some sort of special scenario going on.
