I converted this squad of Ogryn from OK Bulls for a contest on another website. My IG army is Catachan themed, so that's what I went for with these big lugs. They still need a little sanding work/cleaning mold lines but I'm pretty happy with them. Took me long enough to actually model them - just a few days short of a month. I should have completed photos by the 1st.

He's holding a Striking Scorpion arm that is still holding its chainsword.
Now just get the last few mold lines and paint them!

I finished these dudes this morning with an hour to spare. Looks like I'm gettng a copy of the new Ghosts omnibus for my trouble.

I think I should have scrubbed them first; for the first time I'm having trouble with paint beading and I'm guessing it's due to residual Vaseline on the models.

It's been a little while since I've actually painted anything so they're a little more rough than I'd like but it's good enough for tabletop. I'm going to try to paint something on the banner once I actually figure out what should go on there. I'm also going to try and use some of the dead thrush I just got to hide the stick that's holding up the servo skull - you can kind of see where I already attempted it and fethed up.

I'm thinking the problem I was having with the beading paint was more dude to a gakky prime job than residual oil. You can really see it on the standard bearer dude's beard.
