I think total cost I'm still under a buck.)

I'm going to keep working on this one, but start another in a different sort of design, as I'm already learning things about how to carve the tracks and want to do it better, with closer spacing.

Next steps: find some suitable bits for road wheels, finishing nails in the rivet holes, add spikes to the roller and make the gun much bigger. I'm trying to resist the urge to just start dumping orky bits onto it, or resort to plasticard. I'm wondering how far I can get with scrap material. It's actually a 4" poster tube. The tanks a bit oversized.)

I used a saw to cut through the heavy cardboard, and pulled both caps off. After wondering how I'd attatch it, I went the easy route. A 2" drywall screw through each endcap, and then screwed them into the tracks, then push them both back onto the tube.
