Centurion how do you resolved Aspect Warrior painting? Start with the whole gem and paint it the lightest color. Then take the next darker color, and paint over the lighter color, leaving a ring of the lighter color. I usually leave the ring a little bit thicker at the "bottom" of wherever that gem is, based on the model, to simulate the light coming from above. Then repeat with the third, darkest color.

You could use more colors, but I just prefer to hit it with a watered down wash (about 2-3 to 1 water to wash). Once it dries, use a really fine tip brush and put a dot of white somewhere near the "top" of the gem.
