				<description><![CDATA[ So yesterday i tried a possible list because i want to make a Night Lords Army<br /> <br /> So i went against Crons and although i draw one and won the other one i got chewed.<br /> I´m a poor roler(really , i save like <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> and shoot like Orks, and i´m spikey marines)<br /> <br /> This was my list<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> - Lord, Power Weapon, Combi.Flamer, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>MoS</span><br /> <br /> Elites - <br /> <br /> 4 Termies, Heavy Flamer, Chain Fist, 2 Combi Flamers, IoS - Land raider<br /> <br /> 3 Termies, ReaperA(fluff), CMeltas - Land raider<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> <br /> 10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> with 2 flamers<br /> <br /> 10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> with Lascannon<br /> <br /> Heavy Support<br /> <br /> 6 Havocs with 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span><br /> 6 Havocs with 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span><br /> 5 Havocs with 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span><br /> <br /> - He had 3 troops (10 each)<br /> <br /> 3 units destroyers(3, 4, 4, i think)<br /> <br /> 2 units Heavy destroyers (2, 2)<br /> <br /> 1 Monolith(Kill 1 land raider each game, 1 and second turn....yeah i´m that lucky)<br /> <br /> <br /> I know i can't outshoot him, but my havocs.........but damn, even with armour saves and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(142);'>WBB</span> i should kill more than one necron per turn.<br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> ]]></description>

				<title>Night Lords 1750pts</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ You don't have any Rhinos? Thats my first observation. Which means that you have very limited flexability, and you're allowing him to run circles around you. My second observation is that this isn't night lords. No Raptors? If anything this is an Iron Warriors list maybe, but <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(186);'>def</span> not Night Lords.<br /> <br /> I'm not trying to belittle you or anything, here are my suggestions.<br /> <br /> -1 unit of 2 Oblits instead of a Havoc squad. You're probably sick of hearing this, but their flexability is unmatched by anything else in your dex. While you lose the volume of fire you can now hurt the Monolith and take out 10 crons in one shooting phase with plasma cannons (thats what won me my last tourny).<br /> <br /> -Possibly replacing another one of the Havoc squads with a Defiler, or Pred w/ Las sponsons. Again you're probably sick of hearing this but with either of these choices you still get a Autocannon, and either 2 Lascannons or a Battlecannon. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span> the Battlecannon is my favorite weapon in our dex besides a Doom Siren.<br /> <br /> -Your squads need Rhinos. It keeps them protected and helps move them around faster.<br /> <br /> -2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>? If thats what you like then keep it. I think the points would be better spent elsewhere on anything, same w/ the termies.<br /> <br /> -<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span> Lord suck, period. The reason everyone takes <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DPs</span> or Sorcerers is because of their ability to inflict more damage. The Lord isn't anything but a more expensive and shiny <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>.<br /> <br /> Hope this helped. 				<description><![CDATA[ I have to agree with billie joe on a lot of this list.<br /> <br /> There is an abundance of flamers that really are not needed. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span> 12 autocannons should be enough coverage for anti-whorde. <br /> <br /> When using terminators make them dedicated to a job. If you wanna give them IoS then give them a lightning claw or something, dont spend money on ranged weapons if they are to be used for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> No heavy weapons on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> squads. The strongest point of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> is that they have an extra attack over regular <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span>'s and their assault weapons. Give them double melta, double flamers, or double plasma. This allows them to move and shoot. Witch a rhio they can work to their full effectiveness.<br /> <br /> Also this is not a night lords list... Night lords were famous for their fast attack units. Mainly raptors which you have none of.<br /> <br /> Chaos lords are crappy, there really is no good reason to take them. Daemon Princes and Sorcerers are much better for the points.]]></description>

But no Lord's don't suck in fact I'll take mine over a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>dp</span> anyday purely for the fact at least my lord isn't a huge target and in my case has 2+ armor save.<br /> However I would point you in the direction of a Sorcerer with Wind of Chaos or Bolt of Change.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>Imo</span> I run a Khorne Lord with lightning claws and it is BEAUTIFUL 6 attacks on the charge!<br /> <br /> I must also point out that the Night Lords are the least daemonic of the legions, you wouldn't find a defiler in their armories but have lots of raptors, lots of bikers and you could use a predator. <br /> <br /> I know a guy on Dakka that runs two predators in his Night Lords army. And if worse case I've never heard of them not using oblits.]]></description>

And i will concede that a chaos lord in the extremely singular role that you play him in is effective. However, a daemon prince has a much better stat line and a much more flexible role. More wounds, higher toughness, and higher initiative. A khorne lord in terminator armor with a pair of lightning claws does have a better armor save and 1 more attack an can hide. However. Against a Tzeentch daemon prince with wings and warptime a chaos lord concedes movement and a HUGE range of flexibility. And a chaos lord in terminator armor cannot ride in a rhino so he needs at least a landraider to be delivered effectively. Which if you incorporate all the costs a chaos lord needs a squad to hide in and a landraider, which becomes much more costly than a single daemon prince. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I just think this list is too static. Now yes there are 2 land raiders, but they aren't delivering any troops, like Zerkers, who would be able to take an objective. I also don't think the termies need any help from the Lord, if you equip them properly they should be fine by themselves.<br /> <br /> As far as the Lord is concerned why does he have a combi-flamer and a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span>? You're losing out on +1A for 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>CCWs</span>. If your hearts set on the combi flamer at least change his <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span> to a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> and go with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span>, or switch it over to a Daemon Weapon. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I´m sorry i didn't put all the units correctly<br /> <br /> Both troops have rhinos, and there is one termie with DlC in the 4 man unit.<br /> <br /> I only started playing in this edition, but i heard we used to have some fun stuff in older dexes.<br /> <br /> I just read Soul Hunter and....SPOILERS<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There are no raptors on the 10th, the lord is just a sergeant, there are land raiders and a few heavy weapons though.<br /> <br /> But i'm going for a more in your face aproach, i´ll put both list for you to bash them <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Really could use the help, and ill make the lists more legible next time.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The Lord seems weak. Nothing mighty or terrifying about him. Give him a Daemon Weapon or something to make him a threat.<br /> <br /> Only two Troop choices at 1750? My usual rule of thumb is one Troop unit for every 500 points.<br /> <br /> Land Raiders are generally considered a point sink. I don't mind seeing one of them to ferry your Lord and 4 Termies, but two of them seems wasteful unless there's a fluff reason.<br /> <br /> Havoc Spam work for you? Personally, I'd rather have Oblits or a Predator or even Raptors over 3 squads of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> Havocs. Night Lords are especially known for their Raptors, if you're into fluff.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Like i said i was trying to go more like "Soul Hunter"<br /> <br /> So i´m trying to be fluffy in that regard.<br /> <br /> The Havocs do put out a lot of shots but against 3+ save and 4+ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(142);'>wbb</span> , maybe necrons wasn´t their best opponent.<br /> <br /> Here are the 2 list i´m considering<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> - Kharn (count as Talos)<br /> <br /> TROOPS - 3* (9 x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> + 1 A.C with Fist + 2 meltas and rhino)<br /> <br /> Fast Attack - 6 raptors + A.c with DLC + 2 flamers<br /> <br /> Elites - Land Raider , 4 termies with 2 DLC, 2 P.F, 2 CPlasma<br /> <br /> Elites - 8 chosen with 5 plasma guns + Rhino<br /> <br /> Here i´m just afraid i might not have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> enough<br /> <br /> --------------List 2-------------------------<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> - Kharn<br /> <br /> TROOPS - 2* (9 x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> + 1 A.C with Fist + 2 meltas and rhino(extra armour))<br /> <br />                14 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> + A.C with P.F +2 meltas (they go on the middle of 3 rhinos)<br /> <br /> <br /> Elites - 8 chosen with 5 plasma guns + Rhino<br /> <br /> Heavy Support<br /> <br /> 8 havocs with 4 lascannons<br /> <br /> 8 havocs with 4 plasma guns and rhino<br /> <br /> here i´m thinking riding the rhino at the enemy lines, they come out , double tap, and the big unit charges.<br /> I might outflank with the chosen(5 plasmas are scary)<br /> <br /> What are your thoughts?<br /> <br />   <br /> <br /> ]]></description>
