I think its based off an actual armored car design (Russian) to be used in inter war, back of beyond or pulp gaming. The two ultimate monstrosities of the era are the Soviet T35 and the Vickers A1E1 which inspired it.

There used to be a 1/35 scale kit of the T35 but it has been OOP for some years.

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was based on a real armored car. It's still pretty crazy though, I can't imagine the kind of maintenance trouble they must have had with all those multi-turreted vehicles back then. It's a cool model, it would work nicely for IG.
