might switch from citadel to P3

I am thinking of picking up a painting video and one I found uses a lot of P3 paints I was wondering how much of a difference the 2 paint brands p3 to citadel would look compared. would it make my army look that disjointed?

might switch from citadel to P3

Use both. There are some P3 colors that Citadel doesn't do and Vice Versa. I like the majority of the P3 colors more however. I like the Metallics, Foundations and Washes from Citadel. P3 is amazing though. They're cheaper and have a bit more. I highly suggest the P3 myself and I love the tones and colors they have.

might switch from citadel to P3

I agree with both of the above I use a mix of P3, Citadel and Vallejo paints. Citadel's washes and foundation paints are a thing of beauty and I still like their metallics. P3 are also very nice and different tones than Citadel, so if you're looking to replace your Citadel paints with P3 your minis will look different. And I absolutely LOVE P3's Armor and Flesh washes. They're a bit different to get used to but once you get them down they shade flesh and metal bits perfectly.

All in all, use a mix of paints that fit your style, just be aware that the lines are different and if you completely switch lines the colors will be different. Mix and match is key, IMHO.
