Hmm. I looked at the dip and realized for less money I can get a can of Minwax for dipping and have the added bonus of using any leftover to stain my furniture.

I use the stuff they did under license to Battlefront.

Specifically, the British Armour(Late) and US Armour colors. Only thing is they don't have the dragon red spray can yet, so I have to hold off.
