I have come up with a rough list.<br /> 2,000 Points<br /> Lord<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span><br /> Dual <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span><br /> 4 Term.<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(237);'>IoT</span><br /> 3 w/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span><br /> 1 w/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> and Heavy Flamer<br /> All in Land Raider with Daemonic Possesion<br /> Sorc.<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span><br /> Doombolt<br /> Warptime<br /> Familiar<br /> 9 T.Sons<br /> Doombolt<br /> <br /> 9 T.Sons<br /> Doombolt<br /> <br /> 9 T.Sons<br /> Doombolt<br /> <br /> All T.Sons and the Sorc in 3 Rhinos with extra armour<br /> <br /> 2 Oblits<br /> <br /> 2 Oblits<br /> <br /> I believe I have extra points, but I don't have the book on me. 				<description><![CDATA[ just to let you know with the sorcerer having <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span> you dont need the familiar to have the extra power. Other than that the list is solid....for 1k sons. They lack the much needed <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> so i suggest mixing in one or two squads of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSMs</span> so you can get the meltas. Trust me they need it.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> Also they suck in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(58);'>HtH</span> and will always strike last if they charge due to Slow and Purposeful rule. That is also why i suggest the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> squads since they are so versatile.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I do NOT suggest running <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(130);'>TS</span> without Rhinos.<br /> __________________________<br /> <br /> Lord: makes more sense to go with a Sorc or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> lord.<br /> <br /> Lord/Termies in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> is quite underwhelming...so don't expect too much out of them.<br /> <br /> Sorc Lord: wind of chaos, hell no to doombolt.  What's the point of the familiar?<br /> <br /> Dust Buckets: a bitt too much really, I highly suggest replacing 1 to 2, to all three (count as) with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> squads to support them.<br /> Rhinos are always good.<br /> <br /> You need anti-tank.  you need anti-transports.  you need anti-horde.<br /> You have really none of that and are only good versus unsupported, unmeched <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span>.<br /> <br /> Oblits are ok, but out of place if one would be a stickler for these kinds of things.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I did a 1500 point Thousand Sons list I liked a lot. <br /> <br /> Chaos Sorceror  <br /> Mark of Tzeentch <br /> Warptime <br /> Wind of Chaos <br /> <br /> Daemon Prince <br /> Wings <br /> Mark of Tzeentch <br /> Warptime <br /> Bolt of Change <br /> <br /> 8 Thousand Sons with Aspiring Sorceror and Wind of Chaos with Personal Icon. <br /> Mounted in Rhino.<br /> <br /> 8 Thousand Sons with Aspiring Sorceror and Wind of Chaos with Personal Icon. <br /> Mounted in Rhino.<br /> <br /> 9 Summoned Lesser Daemons. <br /> <br /> 10 Chaos Space Marines <br /> Champion Power Fist <br /> 2 Meltaguns.<br /> Icon of Tzeentch<br /> Mounted in Rhino. <br /> <br /> Chaos Predator with Autocannon and Lascannon Sponsons. <br /> <br /> <br /> Worked in Horror/Flamer models for summoned Daemons who are functional at anti-horde and can come in without scatter and deny a charge and tie stuff up and take objectives.  Chaos Space Marines with the Mark of Tzeentch are Thousand Sons-ey but much better at close combat and vs Vehicles.  But yeah Daemons are so terribly nice for keeping the Thousand Sons out of close combat which should be your priority.  Wind of Chaos ignores the Aspiring Sorceror's lesser ballistic skill compared to a real Sorceror and makes you actually dangerous advancing out of a rhino on a squad in cover.<br /> <br /> In going to 2,000 points I was thinking of another predator for working as a pair and maybe some Vindicators.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

Rather than the Terminator Lord who directs fire right <b>at</b> your transports, and a Land Raider is a lot of points.  And of course if they ignore the Daemon Prince he does horrendous things to whatever he touches.<br /> <br /> I like Bolt of Change for hurling at transports as he flies by, I found Wind of Chaos caused him to kill himself out of assault range and then be vulnerable to shooting.  <br /> <br /> Just personal opinion.<br /> <br /> P.S. And you can use a Lord of Change as your Daemon Prince.  Style points.]]></description>

You take it if you like, but know it's a black hole in terms of points and efficiency.<br /> <br /> The Dust Buckets can not afford to diversify their primary and singular role...that's why you go with Wind of Chaos on a rhino mounted squad... it brings the pain.  The reason to go with Doombolt is to keep costs lower.<br /> <br /> You want anti-tank? Go with Termicides, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> Preds, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> squads with Meltas, Chosen w/ Meltas, etc, etc, etc.  So many better options/platforms.<br /> <br /> Face it, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> hates all things associated with Tzeentch at this moment.<br /> <br /> A tri-las is not suggested as said the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> is suggested, the high costing top turret is just not worth it...and what the Dust Buckets need is anti-transports, not necessarily anti-Battle Tanks.]]></description>

This can be anything EXCEPT using two shooting powers.  You can use Warptime and Force Weapon or Wind of Chaos, but not three in one turn.<br /> <br /> And yes it is a waste.]]></description>
