				<title>1000 Orks, for starting out</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ First time post, <br /> <br /> I'm going to start an ork army, I was thinking the best thing to do would be to pick an army and then build towards it. <br /> <br /> So I was thinking of starting with 1000 points, <br /> <br /> The idea would be hide behind the nobz mob (with mek, painboy and warboss in it) using the Feel no Pain and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> as a shield to get across the board. <br /> <br /> The other mobs behind (obiviously) then meet the enemy and tear them up in Close Combat. <br /> <br /> Use the Deffkoptas to flank any troublesome vechiles, walkers or  heavy weapon squads. <br /> <br /> Heres the list. You could have 40 more boyz for those points.<br /> <br /> If you want to use a unit as a screen, use Grots.  <br /> <br /> Split the Koptas. 				<description><![CDATA[ Ok well then I would probably get rid of the Big mek entirely he's pretty much there for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span>, <br /> The idea being that with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> the pain boy and the eavy armour that nobz mob would be able to soak up a lot of shots. <br /> <br /> Is this not the case ? <br /> <br /> I guess I would drop the mek then, and get a trukk for the Nobz and spend the 70 points on a grot mob ? <br /> <br /> Or would it better to spend it on boyz, the nobz included ? <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ So what is the army you're building towards?<br /> <br /> At the moment it looks like green tide, in which case <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> is well and good, but you do not want your screening unit to be a nob squad. In fact you really don't want a nob squad on foot ever really. <br /> They're pretty tough, but way too expensive to be put on foot where they can be kited around and shot up. A battlecannon will ruin your day as the 5+ (or 4+) cover save only gets you so far and then your nobs are instant deathed. Each wound killing a full model if possible. (side note this is after allocation so if you have a nob with 1 wound taken in his own pool you can put the instant death wound on him instead)<br /> <br /> Other screening units for a green tide are typically a 30 man gretchin squad, a 30 man boyz squad strung out in front of all your units, or an 'ard boyz unit with mad doc grotsnik giving them <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span> in front.<br /> The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> is useful with all these to give the front squad a 5+ cover and then the rest get a 4+ cover.<br /> <br /> If you use killa kans as your screen then you're moving into a kan wall. You'd want 6-9 kans with 1-2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFFs</span> depending on point allowance.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I also think it would be better to drop the 10 man boyz squad from the 2nd list and use the points to fill out the first two mobs as much as you can. The more wounds you have to take before losing fearless the merrier.<br /> The kans will already be screening so the gretchins can be put behind everything and just sit on a close objective or be held in reserve to do the same thing.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'm going to be called a fool for this, but I really think my point has a slight bit of validity. I'm a HUGE fan of Old Zogwort and warpheads. Ork psychic powers are so cool. Grotsnik is pretty cool as well. Burna's in a Battle-wagon wins games and loota's are great. However, if you want good advice, I'd Private Message the user DashofPepper. He's a phenomenal ork player and would be glad to help you out mtl.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Grotz though?  Why even bother with Grotz, the points difference between them and a potentially useful  unit is negligible.  You get so much more survivability and killing power if you just use Boyz.]]></description>
