Astorath the Grim

I had someone say that Astorath's 2 handed weapon does not say you dont get an additional attack with a pistol. Giving his Astorath the grim 4 base attacks plus 1 for charging. I tryed to find it in the blood angels codex and in the 40k book but niether had an answer. The 40k book doesnt even list 2 handed weapons.

it just says his Axe is two handed. The MS codex says a relic weapon losses the +1 attack with a pistol because its 2 handed but Astoraths executioners axe says nothing of the sort. just that its 2 handed and its powers

if this is true hes even better then i thought

Firstly, YMDC and 40k GD are matters of opinion. to me this is a general descussion because im descussing my problem finding the general rules.

secondly, thank you, I thought that was the case but could not find that for the life of me the other day. Ill remember that the next time I play him.

Just answer his question and move along...seriously the freaking forum police are annoying to everyone.

He wasn't trying to break your sacred rules, just wasn't sure where to pose this question based on the circumstance. Three people telling him to sod off helps nothing.

Astorath the Grim

This is a general discussion thread, not the rules forum. If he's gonna post here, he needs to get it right, and the posters above were indictating where to post, pretty straight-forward.

It's not to tell him to 'sod off'...it's telling him that there is an etiquitte here in Dakka that everyone is expected to follow upon signing up.

It's is just being 'proper' with respect to the rules posted for everyone to see. Being reminded of these rules is not rude, telling someone to "Just answer his question and move along" is, in addition you get a little confrontational with "break your sacred rules".

It's nothing to report of course, but just see it from a different perspective...which is somewhat the point of the Discussion thread and not a rules inquiry.

Astorath the Grim

1) This really should have gone in the YMDC forum.

2) See that Yellow Triangle with a "!" in it? That's the MOD ALERT button. IF you feel something is in the wrong place, someone is breaking the forum rules, etc. PLEASE use that rather than jumping ugly in the thread.

As it stands now, this looks like it has been 'asked and answered' and so I'm closing it.
