Here's what I did:

1) Undercoated it black

2) Added one layer of scorched brown

3) Added a layer of snakebite leather

4) Added a 1:1 mix of skull white and tanned flesh, keeping just a little more paint on my brush than dry brushing.

This turned out really welland I recommend you atleast trying it out to see if it works for you. I'll try and get some pictures posted.
