				<description><![CDATA[ I think some fluff on this guy would make criticism a little easier.  All we have is a ruleset to go on, and one that isn't really easy to figure out at that.  Here's how I'm interpreting what you've got, and you can tell me if I'm correct.  <br /> <br /> Apocalypse Cannon: Once per game, during the shooting phase, if Srcacth did not move during the previous movement phase, you may declare that he is warming up the apocalypse cannon.  He does not fire, and may not move or assault until the following shooting phase.  If, during that phase, Srcacth is not locked in combat or otherwise prevented from shooting, he may then fire the Apocalypse Cannon, with the following profile: Range - 48", S - 5, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> - 5, Type - Heavy 20<br /> <br /> Warping: Instead of moving, Srcacth may attempt a "warp jump." Roll the scatter dice.  Srcacth may move up to 36" in the direction indicated.  [I'm assuming that you meant for this ability to ignore difficult terrain as well.  Even though it is not described as such, it seems appropriate for a teleport-style ability.]<br /> <br /> Unstable Core: Any time an obliterator in your army suffers a hit, place the large blast template over it and resolve a Strength 7, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> - hit against any models under the blast, rolling <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2d6</span> for armor penetration for vehicles.  In addition to this, the obliterator in question suffers an additional wound on a roll of a 5+.  No armor or invulnerable saves may be taken against these wounds, but Srcacth's "Feels No Pain" roll may still be taken.  [I really hope that by "hits" you mean "unsaved wounds" here.  Hits causing massive explosions really makes obliterators in a list with Srcacth basically unplayable.  Also, it's not clear whether this rule applies to all Obliterators in your list, or just Srcacth himself.]<br /> <br /> Also, it's worth noting that Master Crafted Weaponry is not something available to units outside Codex: Space Marines, so you should probably outline what that does, for the sake <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(600);'>fo</span> completeness.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You really do need to write some fluff first before you do anything else, it makes writing the rules a lot easier.<br /> <br /> I like the idea of an oblit special character but some of your rules are a bit off.<br /> <br /> Firstly with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span>, 2+ armour, 4+ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(162);'>inv</span> and eternal warrior he is almost impossible to kill. I think about taking off the eternal warrior and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> and bumping him up to S5 T5 would be better. Still hard but not unkillable. Also a nod to the previous codex when oblits were S5 T5.<br /> <br /> The apocalypse cannon isnt actually very good. Losing effectively a whole game turn just isnt worth it. Consider the Punisher Cannon that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> have. That is S5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>- Heavy 20 and has no restricions on how much it can be fired.<br /> <br /> Master-crafting all of his weapons seems unnecessary since hes BS5. It also makes him a bit too powerful, especially with the apocalypse cannon.<br /> <br /> Warping should be a Deepstrike effect. Then what it does is already cover in the rules. Why is there a limit to its range though? The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> teleporting psychci power has no maximum range because its like deepstrike.<br /> <br /> Why does unstable core ignore armour and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(162);'>inv</span> saves, but has <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>- and is melta? There are lots of conflicting rules there that dont really make sense. Since it has no range it cannot be at half range, so melta is useless. Melta weapons are also AP1 by convention. Why not just make everything under the template suffer a S7 hit.<br /> <br /> Also think about adding some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(187);'>FoC</span> altering things, like a single squad of oblits may to taken as troops (or elites) instead of heavy support.<br /> <br /> If you did those things he would probably cost 250-300pts.<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ So ur telling me that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span> and eternal warrior out, in place S5 and T5 ... might work<br /> Apocalypse cannon... well maybe i could take the warming time off and increase the times that he shoots with it to 2 times per game, i know that obliterators spawn their ammo from themselfs but its 40 shots. so it would be more fair that way (probably)<br /> Master crafting...ok you talked sense so i guess it can be taken off.<br /> Warping is okay with the way you told it so i have to take Psychic test to do that.<br /> <br /> Unstable core is inside obliterator and since he has the apocalypse cannon its unstable. Allow him to be taken as part of a squad.<br /> <br /> Give the oblit the ability to use a punisher cannon, and playtest this. Can he teleport if in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>? <br /> <br /> As for unstable core change the rules again for simplicity sake. Make it just a strength 7 hit everytime the obliterator takes an unsaved wound. The reason why your current rules dont work is because they contradict all of the basic rules already in place. If you dont get armor or invulnerable you shouldnt get <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span>. And i would even say keeping the 5+ for an extra wound is okay.<br /> <br /> Eternal warrior is very iffy here. This character is going to need some godly fulff in order to have that. I would say just up him to S5 T5 and that fixes most eternal warrior issues.<br /> <br /> Master Crafted weapons really dont fit here. Master crafted weapons is generally reserved for C:<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> and an obliterator wouldnt have Mater Crafted weapons anyways.<br /> <br /> Make sure to specify what weapons are included in obliterator weapons. And active mutations, idk what that is but i think this character is pretty pimped out already.<br /> <br /> The only other thing that could be added is perhaps this character can take a retinue of 2 or 3 obliterators. If this character were to be made into an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> this would essentiallly allow for 4 obliterator squads which also makes him worth the 250-300 point range.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'm a huge obliterator fan (except models).  I agree with what others said in that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> and Eternal are pretty crazy high as is 4+ invuln.  Oblits are "just" terminators.  Abaddon is +4 invuln because every chaos god loves him and no matter who this dude is, he's not Abaddon.<br /> <br /> I don't like any of the special abilities, sorry, other than warp.  And 36 is way too far, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span>.<br /> <br /> He is going to be leading an Oblit squad that is Slow and Purposeful.  He should be able to warp his unit.  Should be like 18 max and not able to be done if engaged in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> Oblits, if you notice, just take standard guns.  Do that.  Look through the other races' codices and give him other weapons.  Like a demolisher cannon (with restrictions like fails on 1 or always scatters).  Assault or autocannon.  Missile launchers, etc.  He'd basically have a gun for every situation, which is kinda what Oblits are like now.  Chaos is low tech (in comparison with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> who have planets devoted to R&D) so I can't see them coming up with weapons that are better than other races'.  But they can capture those race's tech and incorporate them into their own biology.<br /> <br /> I think the stats are fine.  But he's going to be pretty expensive.  I mean a standard Oblit is 75.  I could see this guy being 250.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yes he is from metal gear... he carried a huge autocannon.<br /> <br /> Having chuckled about "Vulcan Raven" all day, I think that a back-story on this guy involving once being a Salamander tech priest that fell to Chaos and started incorporating tank weapons, like the punisher cannon, a twin-linked assault cannon or the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span>-Autocannon into his body sounds fluffy.<br /> <br /> I would hesitate to make him anything other than heavy support, however.  I feel he is more like Telion or Harker, and would function better as a unique upgrade to a squad, (and keep my stat suggestions above).]]></description>
