forgeworld: mega dredd and bikes question.

I've got the mega dredd coming in the post along with the biker nobz and warboss.
Can any of you fine folks tell me if they include any sort of instructions and, if not, how difficult they'll be to figure out?
I imagine that the bikes won't be too difficult, but I'm a bit worried about the dredd.
Also! if anyone here has any of the fw bikes painted up, or the mega dredd, I'd love to see them.

forgeworld: mega dredd and bikes question.

They have instructions. It's pretty easy to figure out how to put things together.

The thing you need to remember is to properly clean your bits in dishwashing soap before you try to work with it. Removes the "release agent" that will interfere with gluing later.

Carefully cut and trim your bits and I suggest you do NOT use power tools. FW resin is about as soft as plastic so simple files and a pin vise will work fine.

Pin all joints on heavier models, even if you don't think it is absolutely necessary. You'll thank yourself later.

Plastic cement won't work on resin so you'll need superglue. Unfortunately some superglues won't work either so do some test gluing of extra bits that you remove when cleaning and filing your model.

Sometimes resin bits come warped. Soak them in warm (or hot) water for a few minutes and then see if they bend back into shape. You'll want to get something that will hold the resin properly while the it cools down so it doesn't re-warp.

Those are the main things. Other than that your figure should prime and paint just like the plastics.
