cut off the scope on the metal bolter, glue on (superglue obviosly) the meltagun, then glue on the scope on top,

With a little bit of green stuff you can redirect the cable to the scope

Edit: Overslung is the other option although I think the addition of the scope would make the weapon look too "busy". You cut off the bolters nozzle, move it up a to a level with the eagle. Basically above the line that seperates the grip below the eagle. As you also cut away the grip below the eagle. This gives you room to fit the cut down version of the aforementioned meltapistol.
