				<title>BA Vs. IG need some tactical advice</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I am looking for tips to take on an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> army with my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> that I seem to be having trouble with. If there are any good tactics that anyone could give me off the top of their heads I would much appreciate it. I'm looking for weak points in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> army.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Outflanking baals with assault cannons and heavy flamer sponsons will do wonders for you.<br /> <br /> Aside from that, focus hard on one thing: either go landraider heavy, rhino heavy, or jump heavy.  don't deepstrike unless you're podding in.  <br /> <br /> One unit I've wondered about for fighting <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> is a librarian with the Blood Lance and an honor guard with four meltas, in a pod.  That really hurts <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span>.<br /> <br /> You need to close, and you need to close fast.  Luckily you're capable of that.  Set up combi charges, but try to pop the chimeras to eat the squads in side first.  If jump troops, hug cover but not at the expense of moving as fast as possible. 				<description><![CDATA[ if you use dante and attach him to a sang guard and give the sang guard infernous pistols you could deep strike them right behind his armor with in three inches and light his armor up with the extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span>. because when dante deep strikes he doesnt deveate and he makes sang guard troop choices so thats one less troop choice you have to worry about right there.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Use your fast vehicles and smoke. first turn throw your dudes 18" up and pop smoke, this should put you within turn 2 charge range with most all of your guys. Also, make you have at plenty of priests in your army giving off <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>fnp</span>, that should keep a lot more guys standing. <br /> <br /> Also, bring a unit of terminators, normal ones, with assault cannons. They are amazing at thinning out heavy weapon squads and popping the occasional tank, plus they may draw a lot of fire away from the rest of your army, you may want to put a priest with them as well. <br /> <br /> Have you tried a furioso librarian yet? give him wings of sanguinius and he may be able to have a turn two charge as well.]]></description>

Even the wost cast scenario won't cause a mishap with a 5 man squad, but they often scatter past the 6&quot; mark.  Being past 6&quot; isn't the end of the world when in a AV10 side/rear arc.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> just shouldn't worry <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span>.  It's a fair fight, so you can beat them if you out play them.<br /> <br /> Every troops choice is an assault squad with 2 melta guns.<br /> <br /> When attacking AV10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(397);'>FC</span> means 3 STR5 attacks&gt;1 STR6 krak grenade.<br /> <br /> Just don't <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> overkill infantry that pop out of Chimera.  It's better to multi charge the infantry and other vehicles in an attempt to keep the infantry alive for 1 turn to protect the assault squad.]]></description>

Deepstrike melta put melta within 6 of the back of the leman russ and it 'melts' away.  Troops?  Don't worry about those, we use those to distract you from our tanks.  Chimeras pop with autocannon shots, twin link when possible.  Look for the sides.  Jump pack, terminator you know how to do it now go do it.<br /> <br /> watch out for vets, command squads, stormtroopers. 				<description><![CDATA[ Here are some quick tips:<br /> <br /> * With hte Descent of Angels special rule (1d6" scatter) it's easy to land your jump infantry into prime positions to fire your meltas on side & rear armor. Assault squads work best with 2x meltagun & infernus pistol. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(493);'>DoA</span> also allows you to reroll for reserves which effectively neutralizes Master of the Fleet. I would take some Priests & join them with your assault squads for hte <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span>.<br /> <br /> * Meltabombs !! Take as many meltabombs as possible. If you are in a situation where you have to assault the treads the meltabombs work very well. Also if you happen to immobilize a tank with a meltabomb or krak grenade then power fists will automatically hit since these attacks occur at different steps of initiative. While the meltabomb is best, krak grenades also work very well.<br /> <br /> * Landraiders. If you decide to play a ground force then landraiders will work well versus mech <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> in general.<br /> <br /> * <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span>. As far as <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span> go I think Dante is one of the best choices versus <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> if you are going to field a lot of jump infantry.<br /> <br /> G<br /> ]]></description>
