Re:Should i use wash on my orks?!?

In my opinion, no. Don't wash the armour, Bad Moons should be bright. But in the end it is all up to you
How do you want them? Perhaps a wash and then highlight it again to get more definition? You'll be the judge my friend

//Edge

I'm with OnTheEdge on this, you've some nice, bright Bad Moonz armour there. It looks great.

If you are going to wash it, I wouldn't go with anything darker than Gryphonne Sepia. Even then, I'd probably do another set of highlights after the wash as OnTheEdge has recommended.

Re:Should i use wash on my orks?!?

If you wash the yellow areas, wash the edges in a simple L-shape at the edge, it gives some much wanted depth to an otherwise glaringly bright colour.

Should i use wash on my orks?!?

Without a wash or shading, bright yellow like that just looks tacky. Often moreso under flourescent lighting in most game shops.

Washes dont have to kill the brightness of the yellow- unless you over do it. It adds depth and makes the gear look used/worn.

I really doubt a whole unit of orks is going to have brand new yellow painted gear.

Try a little devlan mud- start in the recesses and see if you like the results.

I think as far as the yellow goes, do a hard edge on it and itll look good. Wash the armor, thats up to you. But deffinetly edge the yellow, itll make it pop
