				<description><![CDATA[ <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/10251349.stm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://news.bbc.co.<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(134);'>uk</span>/1/hi/england/10251349.stm</a><br /> <br /> Nine-month-old twin girls are seriously ill in hospital after apparently being mauled by a fox as they slept in their cots in east London.<br /> <br /> Police officers and paramedics were called to a house in Homerton at about 2200 BST on Saturday.<br /> <br /> A police source said the fox apparently entered the house through an open ground-floor door before attacking the twins in an upstairs room.<br /> <br /> Both girls suffered arm injuries and one is thought to have facial injuries.<br /> <br /> A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found two nine-month-old girls with injuries.<br /> <br /> "Both babies were taken to an east London hospital where their condition is described as serious but stable." ]]></description>

Not sure how or why, but it's been pretty much wiped out over here. But it's the other problems Foxes can bring, like Mange.<br /> <br /> Though Urban foxes tend to be the healthiest of the bunch, what with the easy pickings food wise etc.]]></description>
