Chaos Terminators 5x, Terminator champions 5x, 2x chainfists, 3x Lighning Claws (pair)

That is what i have for this army list at the moment, i have 30 deathguard, a land raider(nurgle theme) and a Nurgle terminator lord. But, i have decided not to use those miniatures as i want to start up fresh again.

This is what i am planing to add.

Terminators 10x, Terminator Champions 10x, 4x Chainfists, 6x Lightning Claws (pair)

Khorne Berzerkers 10x, skull champion, Power fist (2 squads of those)

As you may have noticed so far i have not been thinking about tactics, just get my Terminators in there and rip everything apart. a small army is what i am aiming for.

Would you build a Chaos list of this kind different? comments? complaints?

You will take a wound and do nothing 1/3rd of the time, which is terrible. Demon princes and sorcerers are both infinetly better than lords.

Terminator champions are a complete waste of points. You're spending 50pts for 5 extra attacks, when you could give them an IoK, which costs 30 and does the same thing.

No you haven't been thinking about tactics . Any army that can kite well (mech. Tau, Eldar) will just run loops around you. If you are playing in a casual setting your opponent will either be able to deal with you, or not and will get ripped to shreds. For me that's not that fun really. Rock, paper, scissors.

I assume you take rhinos for the 'Zerkers because without them the planned list adds up to 1425.

Really to make games more balanced I'd take 3 troop choices in lieu of the 10 Man Termie squad. Mount the 'Zerkers all in Rhinos. And then give the Lord's squad a Raider (having sorted the equipment) - or get another 5 man Termie squad to deepstrike if you're set on using that many.

The Article Regwon suggests is a great one covering everything you need for the Terminators. The only thing I would add is in a multi-purpose squad (using IofCG) I (if I used Terminators in a list) would probably make one Terminator a Champ. - the one with TLC (if I had the points).
