				<description><![CDATA[ So, may have access to more money than I thought due to selling of old Fantasy (when I get around to it ); foot-slogging lists possibly not needed (have to see how things pan out). Going to make a few lists across the codices – this is Chaos’ turn. Normally I like a kiting, tactical play style (this is actually a return to the hobby after a break), so I decided to try some assault-orientated goodness. This’ll be my first ‘evil’ army as well if I decide on it. I'll probably post up a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(634);'>PM</span> 1k in a bit .<br /> <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>:<br /> <br /> Chaos Lord: Mark of Khorne, Twin Lightning Claws 130<br /> <i>Sorry, though I like to draw up fat-free army lists, I like to keep it fairly to my own ‘realism’ preferences. Having Termicide in there is bad enough (but what else could I do with the points – a Dakka Pred doesn’t really fit with the aggressive nature of the list, please offer suggestions if you want), but a Daemon Prince leading what is essentially a small Task Force? 				<description><![CDATA[ When it comes to a Khorn Lord I recommend a Daemon Weapon, but claws work. The Termicide seems like overkill in a 1k game, so I'd use the points for more Zerkers, and Rhino upgrades as point filler.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ A Khorne Daemon weapon lord is for people who are gamblers at heart or have weighted dice since it has a 1/3 chance to hurt the lord. 				<title>1000 Chaos Marines - Mech. Agressive</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Khorne Daemon weapon Lord is terrible, as candyman said. A third of the time he does nothing but let his weapon hit him in the face.<br /> <br /> Over 3 rounds of combat incl. a charge, my lord will get 16 re-rolling wounds attacks.<br /> <br /> The Daemon Weapon will get 23 attacks, and take a wound once. That's not taking into account that the average dice roll for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span> will be changed (probably lowered) because all results including a 1 are failures).<br /> <br /> 23 non re-rolling isn't even that much better than 16 re-rolling, and there's no chance to kill yourself in 3 rounds with some dodgy rolling.<br /> <br /> Yes they can be fun, but my lists have gotta be predictably reliable for me to use them.<br /> <br /> [/RANT]<br /> <br /> Got mightily carried away there don't take it seriously <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0">. Hmmm, not sure about the Termicicde, I don't really like just using upgrades a points fillers. I'll thinkon it thank you.<br /> <br /> EDIT: Due to comments on other forums, how about dropping the Vindicators? Others suggest for Defiler and Oblits. But I was thinking drop Termies and Vindis for another rhino-borne 8 man 'Zerker squad, and 2 Oblits. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Considering most khorne armies are warbands I find it would be likely to see a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> leading them. And I don't totally see preds as none fluffy either. Nothing makes more blood flow then a huge blast splattering someone, and if they pop a tank its them getting the cowards out of hiding so their frail bpodies can be cleaved in the blood gods name!]]></description>

When I adjust the list they'll go.<br /> <br /> I think surely a single Defiler is a little exposed - i.e. big shoot me target painted on it. How would you run it - I think it would brilliantly suit the list if it swapped out both weapon options for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(571);'>DCCWs</span> and went fleeting forwards with 5 (6) Attacks. Apart from on the H.Flamer the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> 2 nerfs the RAC and reduces accuracy of the Cannon. I'm worrying about taking a single Heavy Support slot though... What does the Defiler really give me though? I'm not saying it doesn't suit Khorne, just not at this points size. Mebbe at 1500. I didn't say Preds were non-fluffy, but they don't compliment the list. To be used to best effect they have to stand still and shoot. Khorne <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DPs</span> are actually fine - just a slight modification of the Spartan Prince when you have 10 points spare.<br /> <br /> What do tothers think on the switch in another 'Zerker squad and Defiler/2 Oblits. Is it alright to run single <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(57);'>HS</span> slots. Normally double is best but at a low points value? Or should I keep the original and swap in Double Defiler?<br /> ]]></description>

The Bloodfeeder vs Lightning Claws debate is a waste of time when everyone has already made up their mind, but luckily I have the time to waste <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Three rounds of combat vs <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span>: <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(560);'>BF</span>/23 DLC/16<br /> Bloodfeeder will average 7.7 total wounds<br /> Dual Lightning Claws will average 8 total wounds<br /> both ending with 8 models killed (and yes the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(560);'>BF</span> with have lost 1 wound to its self)<br /> <br /> As Nurglitch has argued before, potential matters. In 3 rounds of combat the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(560);'>BF</span> may kill himself, without any attacks, but he also could deal a possible 49 attacks! When it comes to anti-armour I'm a bigger fan of Preds or Oblits, I'd rather have 4-6 big guns over 2 huge ones. <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Oh, and with the extra points I suggest dropping the Dozers to free up a little bit more, and maybe just putting Extra Armour on your Rhinos.]]></description>
