Are you building up from astronomican grey?

If so, thats what I used to do, but recently I learnt a great way to get really clean white armor.

Spray white
Use shadow grey watered down only in the cracks
blend that in with even more watered down space wolves grey

and thats it!

I think the yellowish tint is actually coming from the lights I am using atm in my painting area.
The wife "borrowed" them and I have not seen them since.
I will be correcting this issue soon.

I went outside to try to take some more pics with the big light bulb and wouldnt you know it...its over cast.
well here is the pics I took outside. They are a bit better.
