				<title>Need Help With Nasty Ork unit</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hi i have been playing a few games with my friend who uses orks and so far have failed to stop him with my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> army this mainly comes down to his <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> choice which i find near unstoppable most of the time.<br /> <br /> he fields his warboss accompanied by a varying sized unit of nobz with big choppas and cyborg bodies (or somthin like that) and a pain boy <br /> this makes them too much to cope with in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> and i cant seem to take them down quick enough at range because of the 2w each 5+ invulnerable save and then a 4+ ignore wounds save.<br /> <br /> somebody please help me squish this mighty green menace.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

I suggest 2 medusas, one should probably get on target and blow them to hell.]]></description>

				<title>Need Help With Nasty Ork unit</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ A single hit from a manticore insta-kills nobs and warbosses, and negates their ignore wounds save, because str10 is twice their toughness.  If they're in area terrain, they might get a cover save, but otherwise only invulnerable saves if you fire indirectly.  You can hit them from anywhere on the table with a manticore, and each shot lands d3 of those blasts.  As their numbers dwindle below Mob Rule levels, they'll be making pin tests at -1 versus barrage shots from the manticore, which may force them to stay in place for another turn and take another round of fire.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Anything S8+ should be piling shots into this unit. S8 will ignore the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> and a 5+ invun isn't that good...<br /> I'd suggest Leman Russ battle cannon (fit heavy bolters onto it to deal with the normal boyz if the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> unit out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> or dead)<br /> This unit is incradibly hard, but only against weak units, throw them against powerfists or high strength fire and they will die in droves.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ well my forces have been somewhat limited initially but i have recently purchased a leman Russ demolisher/punisher/executioner i have not yet fielded it against him but have left all weapon options interchangeable for flexibility<br /> also just got some las cannons in a squad of 3 i just hope i can take them down quick enough, he closes the gap so fast]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Is there a way to ignore cover and deny the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span>?  I see the Ork player Turbo Boosting to get the 3+ Cover and then hit the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> Lines/Tanks ASAP.  After the gap is closed and he assaults something he's vulnerable, but I think the problem is getting there.<br /> <br /> This would mean bunkering up and layering your troops to prevent assaults on valuable assets. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If he's got a large(ish) unit like that, that lacks <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PKs</span>, then use the Demolisher on him. Pie plate him as he closes (you said he closes fast so range shouldn't be an issue), then tank-shock. <br /> Also, if you can't put a few high strength shots into them, then try lots of medium strength stuff. The more saves they have to take, the more likely they are to fail them.<br /> <br /> S_P]]></description>

A single shot from either of those can put a real cramp on a mob of boyz or a ork wagon. In any case, a heavy flamer on your sentinel is going to be the best for ork busting in general. Nova cannon removes goobs of orks very nice !  and if you can find them and get them points wise Grey knight Termie Allies are wonderful S6 power weapons !  Have used both to get effect locally here ]]></description>

That's a lot of points spent on small blast template weapons. A 3x mortar <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span> will kill boyz nearly as well as a bare executioner at 25% the points cost.<br /> <br /> When we said pie plates, we meant 5" template.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Executioner is great, but for the same cost you can take three griffons, using Basilisks as the model. For thier cost they make great infantry killers and are very accurate. That's what I use anyway, then, instead of using heavy weapon squads get more chimeras, for almost the same cost you end up with a vehicle with two heavy bolters and a stubber, nine shots, armour and mobility, plus, a few of these attract fire because they look more menacing than the troops, therby sparing other units fire. You can also use them to screen your artillery and if they get too close, tank shock with the chimeras, squish those orks into tighter clusters and pie plate with impunity. <br /> <br /> I learnt the hard way that armour and pie plates beat massed troop gunline with orks!]]></description>
