One of the favorite things to do is convert, and there arnt many models in the witch hunters army range, and most of them are sisters of battle which im not a big fan of. So i decided I would make a Witch Hunters army using not a single model from the Witch Hunters army range. The first thing I got was the empire flagellants box set and made some awesome witch hunter zealots, the rules for which are in one of the white dwarfs I think. Heres what I ended up with:

Then I decided I was very cheap, so got some of the free ghoul sprues from Mantic Games through Wayland Games, and turned them into arco flagellants. Only one of them is (badly) painted, the other ive just undercoated. I should have another 2 or 4 of these soon.

At this point I decided I wanted to bulk out my army with some stormtroopers. I had quite a few spare imperial guard bits from an impluse buy a few years ago, so I decided to mix those bits with some bretonnian men-at-arms. I didnt want to waiste their pretty shields and spears so I stuck them on their backs, as well as bulking them out with grenades and stuff.

Then the man at my local warhammer shop perswaded me to buy some (shock horror shock) metal models, which I had no real need for. They are from the fire and brimstone blister from Warlord Games. I turned this dude into a preist with a makeshift alter and super flaming things to lead my zealots into battle!





Then I turned this other dude into a torturer dude, equipped with a prisoner he is dragging along the floor
