These are the best! but they don't have shields.

Incorrect.

Yes, Elves bodies are fragile, but Elven Warriors are very muscular. Did you notice that humans in Warhammer are also t3? Spartans are no different.

I checked these out, but they don't have the intensity I was looking for in a model. I also wanted to model the spartan Phalanx, but its not possible with these models.

I think for my cause, this might be the right army to model them after. It was tight between High Elves and Chaos. Though I don't know how you feel about using non GW minis, if you want to stick to pure GW then conversions from chaos marauder range would be a good bet I guess.

I hate to say it, but they almost seem TOO perfect, and would look odd with the rest of the army (Most likely Chaos). I think my best bet, which would cost me more money, would be to mix models like that (Shield and head) with either Chaos warriors or Marauders.

My whole plan is to use the "Spartans" as either the warriors of my army, or the chosen, While using the Marauders as the Arcadian soldiers who will be meat shields and die for my glory.

I would model them all to form the phalanx like this http://www.tubeyak.com/images/wallpapers/300/300SpartanSoldiersInPhalanxFormation.jpg. Then, I'd probably model a character with an awesome green stuff beard to represent Leonidas.
