Does anyone know a good way of getting pieces off of bases? Would my best bet be just to sit them base-size high in simple-green? just what i did when i rebased my army.

good thing is:if you manage to get the knife between the glue and the base and can remove all at once,your base looks like it was brand new ^^

Removing the bases is easier if you glued them on with superglue - if they're glued on with Poly Cement then you'll have to cut through the plastic bond.

I had quite a lot of success recently removing the basing effect (gravel and flock held on with PVA) with a craft knife, just scraping it along the base.
