				<description><![CDATA[ Do you think that combining the resilience of Nurgle marines and fury of Berserkers is a good idea in a traitor marine legion? I was thinking of resilient plague marines as a backbone of my army and using berserkers as an elite assault force. Any idea of how to combine these? Plague-O's (with a free disease in each rusted cereal box!) in rhymno, err, Rhino's, using them as mobile bunkers. Sit on points, attack their points with them and zerkers (both clear the objective, zerkers move off to next point/intercept the counterattack, Plague-O's (now in Bubonic flavour!) back into the Rhino, use it like a bunker. Zerkers work best in a Landraider, assaulting out of it- they also work well behind the Plague-O's in a rhino, as a counterattack. This rhino tends to be blown up yet, so dont be too afraid of whacking a combimelta on it every now and then- deepstriking/midfield vehicle insurance. Powerswords on zerker champs is loads of s5 attacks on the charge- vulnerable to being tarpitted by a dreadnaught.<br /> <br /> I'd go 3 defilers for zerkers/plague-O's. Battlecannons for long range fire as they move up the field, scary close combat makes them good buddies with Zerkers, and they are effective fire magnets- mainly because of the size/awesomeness of the model. <br /> <br /> <br /> Hope this helps!  <img src="/s/i/a/5d13fa41280d6fdef786d41bc175d3f6.gif" border="0"> ]]></description>

Your list would be pretty much troops most and those troops can be gunned down easily with out support.<br /> <br /> If you can manage to make a decent list out of it I don't see much of a reason for it failing.]]></description>

Tactically yeah I think its sound. One thing I dont like about plague marines they're hard to kill sure but aren't all that great at killling things themselves. The best offense is sometimes a good defense.<br /> 2. They have access to 2 special weapons...and they are generally the damage dealers and backbone of the army, to say they can't kill things good enough with these is not really an accurate statement as the whole list pretty much relies on these weapons.<br /> <br /> Plague marines are plenty killy, they can function quite well without the Zerkers at range and in combat.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I personally don't use Berserkers because they're expensive and can't shoot.<br /> <br /> 7 Berserker + Pfist Champ in rhino = 243, pistols, 3 powerfist attacks.<br /> <br /> 7 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> + Pfist Champ in rhino = 195, bolters & pistols, 2 powerfist attacks.<br /> <br /> 7 Noise + DoomSiren Champ in rhino = 265-280, all have Sonic Blasters, Champ has<br /> Doom Siren alone in 265<br /> Doom Siren plus I5 3 power weapon attacks in 280<br /> Doom Siren plus power fist in 290<br /> <br /> The noise can do 24 S4 AP5 shots at 24" if they stand still (compared to 8 for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>, 0 for khorne)<br /> <br /> They can do 16 S4 AP5 shots at 24" while running and before they assault (compared to 0 for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> or Khorne moving at over 12")<br /> <br /> And finally just before assault, Noise get another 14 shots + super ultra flamethrower (compared to 8 pistol shots for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>, 8 pistol shots for Khorne.)<br /> <br /> The Doom Siren is a S5 AP3 flamethrower which can cook 6-10 enemies dead in cover on the move and assault.<br /> <br /> Noise Marines cost a little more than berserkers, but in my opinion they accomplish a lot more before they die. A clever enemy will always pop the berserkers transport first and then they're often completely useless.<br /> (Not to mention they'd utterly murder berserkers with shooting and the flamethrower which autohits and kills marines on 3+)<br /> <br /> <br /> Personally, the main downside to Sonic Blaster noise marines is unless you do a conversion yourself, they cost extra since you have to buy several blisters of Slaanesh guns. Berserkers are plastic and cheap.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I only mix my chaos in Epic, I stay with Khorne in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(146);'>WH40K</span> because of the close combat, I love to mix it up close. If you want shooty put in the Choosen there great and cheap, Bezerkers are made for close combat and I use them alot for killing everything I see even vehicles. But my scoring units would be the basic <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> as they have several options to bring death.]]></description>

Overall it looks heavily biased and not very objective.<br /> <br /> Serious <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> squads are 10 man squads, not 8.<br /> Zerkers are cheaper than Sonic Blaster Marines... so you have two contradicting points.<br /> <br /> Competitive Lists focus on Meching up...which makes sonic blasters moot.<br /> <br /> The Doom Siren will not get 6-10 unless the opponent is forced to bunch up (exploding transport/deepstrike/lash).<br /> <br /> The zerkers being targetted is a good thing...Targe Saturation and knowing they are a threat, you can use that.  <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(526);'>NM</span>'s promote a playstyle that is not really supported well in a game where the world is limited to a 6x4 table and in which if one is serious (sadly) you'd go with a mech army.
