This is the primary colour scheme I've devised for my DIY chapter, the Gallowsmen, who specialize in funerals and executions. I've also thrown thought up a city camo and desert camo scheme, which I'll add whenever I get around to writing their fluff...

Anyway, this boy here is still just a prototype. I'm hoping to maybe make a few more. I'm kind of playing with the idea of making an army with one truescale marine per squad, with a bunch of tomb stones and gallows to act as wound markers. That way, I can kind of stick with the movie marines look, while making them actually playable, and not end up killing myself trying to make a massive army.

And for the record, the paint's still drying in these pics, so things look a little more messy then they should. He looks fantastic up close in real life.







And I know I should drill the barrels. But I don't have a modelling drill. And I'm not going to buy one just for one marine. Again, I really like the colours, and that white-ish helm as a final touch is genius.
