However, a BT force would not hand over command simply because the IF are their original legion and Dorn their shared primarch. They are still individual chapters that have no official say over the other and are highly stubborn to boot. That being said, their shared history would definitely lead to better cooperation.

In all, I'd say go for it. It be a cool army to have the sons of Dorn fighting together (through in some loyal Soul Drinkers ).
