Will the current range of army books be replaced soon or are they planning on continued use?

I am thinking of getting back into Fantasy but would rather avoid shelling out for the rulebook + army books only to find in 6 months time a whole new set of books are released. AFAIK it's a stop gap measure that will be phased out as each and every army gets its new book.

hmm..hmm.. debate rages whether it will be Tomb Kings or Orcs and Goblins as the first book....there's mutterrings about xmas time.. which isn't impossible, but I reckon Q1 next year is the safest bet. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more "stand alone" release like the new demon and forthcoming High Elf models as well before and up to the next release.

At any rate, I am planning Vampire Counts, Dwarves and Elves (using the Mantic ranges) in the meantime.
