There probably is an apothocary type model that might be able to heal a wound, but <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> itself was probably not even around back when the book was written (or at the very least only avialable on specific units that had the ability added into their cost like the old plague bearers).]]></description>

The apothacary rules in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> codex follow the 4th Ed. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(388);'>SMs</span>, in that they only prevent a single wound on the command squad, unlike current 5th Ed. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> apothacary rules, which grants <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span>... Far superiour to the old rules, but that's what you get with an old codex... <br /> <br /> Ask any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> or Necron player (you poor bastards!) <br /> <br /> It's just the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DAs</span> time to wait... ]]></description>

By <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(111);'>RAW</span> it can even be used to ignore a penetrating hit on a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> assuming the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> got a cover save vs the shot <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0">. Unlike <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span> it helps vs plasma weapons as well. Its just ignored by <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PWs</span> in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> and weapons that would cause <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>ID</span>. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> can also have several Apots which helps out the same squad. ]]></description>
