http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/8.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net HQ, and Vulkan seems an excellent choice to lead them. Being the cheap runt that I am, I'm looking for a model that's easy to convert, looks good, and would be a great stand-in for Vulkan.

Some questions:
1: Vulkan's left hand (the one that isn't holding the spear) appears to be the size of a power fist. is this true IRL?
2: Which special character model would be easiest to convert? I'm leaning towards the Emperor's champion. He's pretty generic, he's not covered in bling, and looks good.
3: I'm looking to spend only 18 bucks for the model. Any other suggestions for a Vulkan Conversion other than the emperor's champ?

-Emperors Champion breastplate and torso
-Grey Knight spear arm
-Shooting arm converted to hold my own converted flamer
-Green stuff cloak

As for a head i just used whatever i thought looked best. Im pretty sure it was a sternguard helm.
