For the miniature itself, dont go near night goblins. Theyre just not dynamic enough IMO. I'd say common golbins are your best bet. You could have about 5 pulling the chariot quite convincingly.

Alternatively, you could have a pair of goblin fanatics dragging the chariot trying to get to a mushroom dangling right in front of their faces.
