I'm looking for 2500pt very competitive/tournament ready lists and I am open to getting new models (obviously I'll need it for skaven), so while I guess it would be nice not to have to many new models, essentially I'm just looking for what you guys think would be the best armylist and or advice for both armies. Any competitive list needs Teclis, but in friendly games it may be frowned upon.
Phoenix guard are a good unit to have Teclis in. If I wasn't waiting for new plastics, I'd have a block of 20 running.
Caradryan is an amazing bodyguard that will make people think twice about challenging Teclis' unit.
IMHO a dragon will get shot up in a competitive game by war machine.

Other than that, make sure that the more mages you have to more Power dice you need. If taking Teclis and another mage, you may need the +D3 power dice banner for extra dice for the other mage.
Try to max out your 50% special unit allowance, they are your best units.
