Re:Mewiththeface's PROJECT XV9s [updated 8/22 *paint*]

So after a great day in Baltimore for games day, My friend and I got some sexy FW stuff. I play nids personally so I got myself a Winged Hive tyrant with a venom cannon and the positionable ripper swarms. He got himself some xv9 suits with fusion cascades and phased ion cannons. I get to clean, paint, build, and base his new suits. So I will post pictures as I venture into this trek of greater good.

First; my opinion of the models
-Incredible sculpting like always
-Massive and very imposing
-Totally worth the money
-Happy I get to work on them

Well here are the parts out of the bag and then cleaned

Okay so what I really need help with is posing. I have no idea what to do. I prefer to do city fight terrain as that is my specialty. Any posing/basing suggestions are welcome! THANKS!!

Mewiththeface's PROJECT XV9s

I did a squad of Forgeworld suits for a friend that were kind of leaping/boosting over some Imperial Marine corpses/a bit of wrecked Rhino. They were painted as Ultramarines, supposed to be kind of a "Screw you Ventris" Kind of thing. He loved them. I had a ton of fun building them

Yeah for this on, I did the base I did the base with a large rubble pile and tank trap caltrop thing. I think I'll have him 'running/boosting' over it.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Geez guys, no need to post so much
So I have started painting it. My friends scheme is a simple gray and red. I decided to mix it up a bit and try a new wet blending technique and it worked like a charm for me!
NOTE: PRE TOUCH UP, NOT DONE
Here is the chest

His base, he will be leaping from the tank trap, slightly turning with guns in a general arc position.

The rest of the bits which I primed white

This is the primer is use.
