Use wax paper? Either just wax paper that's printed/painted on, or a piece of regular paper with wax paper over it?

Use some of the clear plastic from blister packs or assotate, then cut to size, draw on design with a thin fine liner, or paint with black paint. To do the "stained" glass, use tamiya clear colours to fill in the lines

Tom.

If you've got access to an ink-jet paper you could probably buy some plastic film paper and print out the design. A google image search yields lots of good references for printing.

how do i make stained glass for a chapel?

I know I saw a WD article about this at one point - an early one describing how a chapel was modelled. I'm sure that they used blister plastic and tinted it with inks at the time. Of course, plastic is fairly water-resistant so you might want to brush it with some straight, un-diluted acrylic floor wax (i.e. Future or the like) and let it dry completely before painting it with a wash or something similar.
