I've never played Huron before; but I think a plain Sorcerer with Warptime would be just as effective. The Force Weapon would give him some added punch vs. MCs and characters. That switch would save you some points.

A squad of LDs that size won't have a substantial impact. I think best case scenario they drop in late and claim an objective. But it's just not enough men to win a combat. They'll get stuck and wither away each turn.
With the points you save from the first item, you could cut the Daemon squad and your LC terminator to add:

5 Raptors: AC with PF, 2x Meltas, IoCG
Upgrade 3rd CSM AC to PF (drop melta bombs)

Finally, if you switch out the IoS on the Terms for IoCG (which fits your theme better and is more useful) you could add a Personal Icon back on to the Sorc, meaning all your squads have teleport homers.

The Raptors give you another deepstrike threat, another anti-tank threat, and a very mobile unit to help with board control. I think it's an upgrade over 9 LDs.

You could also cut as many points as you can to add Oblits...but you knew someone was going to say that didn't you?

no experience with huron but i think a lord with combi melta nd pfit would be more fluffy or a dp with warptime(representing his increased speed from his bionic enhancmenst)

id drop that last csm squad for some plague marines with2 plasma guns fluffwise say they have undergone extensive bionic enhancments so they dont feel much

sorry about the KB and CSM squad and it's lack of transport I had accounted for a rhino but left it out

I like huron as a HQ as he adds the ability to have a PW or PF and adds a Heavy flamer to the squad which is nice for an assaulting squad (I think)

The chosen squad was more for effectiveness than fluff

The terminators I will probably do what lukesdabest suggested.

the PW i'd like to stay mostly because I have one modeled but I guess I can fix that with a convertion.

the lesser daemons were more of an idea for a convertion. I guess I can do something with the left over points. (help please )


I'm also curious as to the effectiveness of a single dread.

HF are not exactly useful for an assault squad. That weapon, vs non-MEQ units, can kill so many foes that you lose your charge (only survivors are >6" away). PW or PF is nice, but most things you're using the Fist on (aside from Vehicles) will be killed faster by the Force Weapon. Your champion also has a fist, so you can't be tar-pitted by a dread or something. I realize ITID is given out like candy now, but I still think you'd be just as happy and save more points with a regular old Sorc.

The only character I've ever fielded (read believe to be worth his points) is Kharn. I know he doesn't fit your theme here, but Kharn > Huron.
